"Big Ugly" Dave Willis began his illustrious career in the radio industry in 1992 in Rock Springs, WYOMING. However he is a WV broadcasting KING!(LOL)... Then the radio trail led him to AMARILLO Texas and then backhome to Southern West Virginia in 1994 at the BIG DAWG. Starting out on AM560 then joining the BIG DAWG airstaff. As HOST of the morning show he has the major task of entertaining and keeping the morning crew in check.
In Bigugly's spare time (if there is such a thing) he enjoys spending time with his daughter Andrea and getting to know the BIG DAWG radio listening audience and having them as a part of his FAMILY! Join us for the FUN weekday mornings from 5 until 10 on the BIG DAWG....995 WJLS!
Stacie grew up in Ikes Fork, WV in Wyoming County. Graduated from Baileysville High School, and moved to Princeton, WV in 1998. She graduated from Bluefield State College in 2001 with a degree in Communications.
She started in radio in 1999, as a board operator running Nascar and Open House Party syndicated radio show, overnight on the weekends. Then again from 2006-2009, reporting traffic, remote broadcasts, webmaster and mascot.
Stacie joined the Big Ugly Morning Show in October 2009. Stacie is also a web designer and graphic artist. She enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, friends and fur baby "Cat Cat".
Robert L. "Bob" Cannon, Big Dawg News and Sports. He has a forty five year broadcasting career in Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in radio and TV news and sports, plus a morning and afternoon air personality. Bob has been with the Big Dawg for twenty five years as the Big Dawg morning news and sports anchor.
Jeffrey Joe Buckland was raised in southern West Virginia. He grew up having an imaginary radio station producing shows on cassette tape as a kid as well as playing air guitar. As it turns out, he never grew out of either. Jeff is a 30 year radio broadcasting veteran, having worked at a variety of radio stations and formats. He is also a bass guitarist and vocalist in a band called The Backtimers.
Jeff loves WVU Mountaineer football and basketball, spending time with his wife Stacie and his son Jack.
